The Morning Suit originated in England. Just as the name signifies, it is worn during the day for:
- Weddings
- Races
- Garden Parties
- Diplomatic Occasions
The Morning Suit can either be in black or charcoal grey, but the black Morning Suit is the original and more formal of the two.
The Morning Suit is worn with a buff or pearl grey waistcoat, dark-stripped trousers and white tunic shirt complete with an ascot or silk tie.
Shoes must be black and well-polished.
A top hat is a splendid addition to a wedding outfit. Grey or black top hats may be worn. It can be worn or carried, but should be removed in church and for photographs.
